“Cosy hotel with friendly service”

This hotel was recommended to me by a colleague and I was really pleased with the choice I made. The most important feature for me in a hotel room is guaranteed silence at night and this was provided at this hotel. The room was immaculately clean, the reception staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and with a cosy feel to it. It was like having breakfast at your grand mother's house with the cook walking around and replenishing your coffee cup with fresh coffee. The location was perfect in an area full of restaurants - I particularly recommend walking up the street away from the metro station to enter an area that is less touristy, but with plenty of restaurants and shops. If you want to live in a safe, cosy hotel with a friendly atmosphere come to Auberge le Jardin D'Antoine - warmly recommended!

Extremely helpful folks at the desk, and very nice breakfast, comfortable accommodations. I would definitely stay there again.

“Couldn't have been better!”

This was my fourth visit so I did not hesitate to bring my Colorado cousin and her husband to join us here while we showed them Montreal. We stayed in the budget rooms which were compact but comfortable. A great value for the money. We didn't need extra space since we were always out. The lighting was more than adequate , which is not usually the case in hotels, and there were plenty of wall outlets to charge electronic devices. Free wifi was a real plus. The breakfast was excellent with many choices and was presided over by a delightful lady who told us where to get the delicious Montreal bagels they served. (we brought home several dozen to freeze!) The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They were most helpful with dining advice, directions, and where to buy different items. Anything we requested for the room arrived promptly and cheerfully. We will definitely stay at Auberge Le Jardin d'Antoine again (and again!) on our future visits to Montreal.

“our choice for a first visit to Montreal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2011

On a sister trip to Quebec we wanted the ambiance of a neighborhood auberge, and we quickly felt like natives at le Jardin d'Antoine. There are many dining choices on rue St.-Denis, and the location is very convenient to the Berri-UQAM metro station where you can access all of Montreal. We enjoyed exploring different parts of the city.
Front desk staff, especially Dorina, Florence, and co-owner Marc Andre, were exceptionally professional and helpful. They seemed genuinely to care that we enjoyed our visit.
Breakfast items were fresh and good quality, more than ample to start our day. Our room on the second level was comfortable and quiet with the exception of a little party noise in an adjacent parking area on a Saturday night.

“A Great Deal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 September 2011

I'm surprised at some of the mediocre reviews. Our one-night stay was exceptional. We had two rooms on the main floor and both were comfortable, well-apppointed, quiet and roomy with a nice bathroom and good storage. In our room, two brick walls lent a rustic and intimate-getaway feel to the charming, courtyard-syle inner city venue. The price, including breakfast was very reasonable and the on-line reservation worked well.

The location at Rue Saint Denis and Sherbrooke is excellent and it is a good walking neighbourhood. Parking is just a few minutes away and there is an unloading zone in front of the hotel too.

The staff in the afternoon and next morning could not have been more helpful with our restaurant and touring plans, and the breakfast staff was polite as well. A solid breakfast is provided downstairs and you can sit outside.

This was our second visit to this hotel and we would recommend it highly.

Room Tip: Reserve in advance
