We have stayed here many times. It is not a large hotel, more like a boutique. But it is not small either. Just right. The rooms are large with a big bathroom and most have whirlpool baths. The staff is outstanding. It is right in the center of town, easy walking to just about anywhere. I have been at other good hotels in Montreal, but this is the best!

Great location. Rooms are big Service is great. Lobby bar s nice for a drink before going out. Lots of shopping and restaurant in the area

We visit Montreal as often as possible and spent Christmas there recently. We had heard many good things about this hotel and decided to try it. Good decision! From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we had a wonderful experience! Staff were absolutely outstanding. Gracious and accommodating. Room was lovely, bar is great - specialty martinis are a must try. The location is great too. Right downtown and across the street from the greatest department store - Ogilvy's.

This is a very good hotel if you want to stay in downtown Montréal(very well located for the downtown core etc.). I booked a premium king room via the Loews(beginning of January 2012) website and everything was as requested.
The Loews Hotel Vogue is a premium hotel that is very well maintained, the public areas are clean and as-well the rooms. The rooms are very well appointed with nice furnishing and amenities. The decor/furnishings are very nice but a bit dated and worn. I think the rooms and the hotel are due for a mini-facelift, just to fresh things up.... This remains to be very nice and good hotel.
There are two things that bothered me during my stay:
1) I couldn't find a mail box to mail two letters outside nor inside the hotel and I asked the front desk clerk to put them in his outgoing mail. This seemed to be a tedious task for him.
2) Had room service for breakfast and I was disappointed with the quality of the food for a premium hotel and price. For example I ordered eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce seemed to outsourced or packaged(powder).
Overall this a very nice and excellent located hotel.
