“Will Definitely Return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

Stayed here for business in February 2012. I loved the location within walking distance of Old Montreal. The front desk staff was pleasant and efficient. I found the overall decor and layout of the hotel and my room to be stylish, clean and new. I'm not sure if Le Westin Montreal is a new hotel or recently renovated but it sure gave a sparkling new impression! I enjoyed my comfortable king-sized bed with lots of pillows, sleek furniture and lighting fixtures, elegant draperies, and flat-screen TV. The bathroom was spa-like with plush towels, good lighting, mirrors and amenities. For me, the large beautifully-tiled shower was the final cherry on top! For a downtown hotel catering to business crowds, the price of $179/night was reasonable for everything I experienced. I was very impressed with Le Westin Montreal and plan to return for either business or personal.

Bonjour J_M_S_Toronto ! Le Westin will be 3 years old in May 2012. It was built in former Montreal Gazette newspaper building, to which a 22-storey brand new tower was added. I am delighted to read that the personnel efficiency and the rooms comfort have convinced you to come back and can only hope it will be very soon! Au revoir!

“Great hotel for business travel”

I love staying at the Westin in Montreal-- the location is great for business as it is close to the business center of the city, but also right on the edge of Old Montreal.

Check in is always smooth and efficient and I appreciate the express checkout and email invoice.

Rooms are clean and large and the Heavenly beds live up to their name. Free wifi is nice as well.

I will try to remember to bring a swimsuit to do some laps in their pool next time I go.

Overall, a great experience, no complaints.

Bonjour TeeceeTO and thank you for reviewing Le Westin online. I personally think that the first sentence was saying it all, but then one could say I am biased! Sincerely, it is great to read that it is a perfect mix of both our installations and the service level that make you come back and back, and I hope to have you staying with us for many, many years. Au revoir!

“Very Nice Hotel Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

Westin Hotels are reliably awesome and this one has not disappointed. I have stayed here twice, some things which stand out are the location close to Old Town, Chinatown. The pool/gym area is a must visit. The pool really is over the entrance driveway and you can really look thru the bottom of the pool at people and cars-they have masks for the kids. Rooms are very quiet, restaurant in the hotel is very good as well. Many good choices in Montreal, and this is one of the best

“FANTASTIC!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

When I was there, the hotel was practically brand new - the pool and gym weren't even finished yet! Needless to say, our room was BEAUTIFUL! We actually booked this hotel last-minute after checking out of a very disappointing hotel that we had originally booked. The 3 of us stayed in a large room with a King sized bed - and it didn't feel cramped AT ALL. I felt like I was in heaven! The bathroom was gorgeous and I loved everything about this hotel! It's beautiful, with friendly and attentive staff. And although the pool and gym weren't finished yet, the hotel was PROACTIVE -- they had already previously arranged with the hotel next door for Westin guests to use their facilities! FABULOUS. I must say, I was impressed because MANY hotels fail to be proactive, so this was a HUGE plus for me. Thank you for being the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Montreal! (I selected March 2011, because there were no options prior to that)

Dear Shelly N, thank you so much for sharing your comments on TripAdvisor. Opening a hotel is quite an adventure, and everyone that was implicated back then will really much appreciate your good words. Of course, the pool and gym have both been completed since then, and it would be high time for you to come and experience them! I trust that you will find that the overall quality has only improved since then and that Le Westin is the one choice to be considered when visiting Montreal!
