What used to be a grand hotel on a quaint island in the middle of nature, has now become a dilapidated vacant waste. I realize that we went between Christmas and New Years, but there were 9 cars in the parking lot and I think that they belonged to staff. After 2 bus loads of tourists left at 7 a.m., there was no more hot water. The Continental breakfast was, white bread, brown bread, a few muffins and croissants, butter and grape jelly with the most water downed coffee I've ever tasted. The beds were comfortable, and I liked the firm pillows, but the lights in the bathroom could light up an airport runway. I guess they serve to compensate keeping the room warm after your cold shower. It is very sad. This is a grand hotel that is going, sorry, HAS gone to waste. It was cheap, but unfortunately not worth it.

Total mess! It was nice I'm sure in 1980 when it opened. But they have done nothing to it since then. The entire property is a mess and falling apart. Spend the extra 20 or 30 dollars per night and avoid this dump!

Good value, perfect for a couple who want to put their heads down for two nights and see Montreal during the day. For $ 65 the rooms were large, airy, comfortable and the two Queens were very comfortable.True the building is of an old design and when we stayed there (End of October) they were semi closed. i.e. There were no amenities and breakfast was taken via a voucher issued for a restaurant in a local Mall, all of an 8 minute drive away. NO there are no restaurants nearby. The reception area was large and yes a little musty but so what if you're just there in October for two nights !! The hotel is situated off the motorway, in the countryside, by the side of a park, mind out for the foxes nosing around after the hotel cat and I saw a skunk digging around by the free car park. Best to use a GPS or you'll never find the place. Staff were exceptionally helpful even though one night the receptionist only spoke French so I had to break my teeth en Francais.

If you booked this place as a 3 or 4**** Hotel at Priceline, you were ripped off.
The first impression of the building is dirty, like it has not been maintained in about 20 years; the carpet in the lobby has an odor and full of stains. The Pool area outside was very unattractive and the Pool itself was empty and full of dirt. The TV in my room was at least 10 years old and unsuitable for today's sports viewing, as I could see only 75% of the action and almost all the channels are French. The minibar was only accessible with a key from the frontdesk. In my bathroom was a dirty towel, the cleaner forgot to take with her. The kit on the tiles in my tub was black. No Restaurant, breakfast is served in a dead end hallway. No English newspapers as this Hotel clearly only caters for the French.
