The Comfort Inn Chicoutimi is conveniently located there are many stores, restaurants, and things to do around it. The staff were very friendly, bilingual, and overall good. The hotel itself is getting older now, it could use an upgrade. It's not run down, but could use updating. The room was an average everyday room, nothing special and I have nothing bad to say about the room.

Third or fourth time here on business. Clean rooms and ones available with microwave and fridge. Nice for my week's stay. As mentioned; the hotel is walking distance from quite a few restaurants, shopping (Wal Mart, etc.) and grocers. I would recommend the business rooms (called advantage?) for the extra amenities. Free wireless internet (Data Valet) is one of the most reliable out there. Terminal in lobby if you don't have your own laptop. Friendly staff and reasonable rates for a pretty part of the Province.

We stayed here one night in September 2007. The queensize-bedroom was clean and spacious. The motel is at Boulevard Talbot, just a few minutes drive to downtown Chicoutimi. In the surrounding area are a lot of big supermarkets, shops and fast food restaurants. The free continental breakfast was good. The front desk staff was friendly. We can recommend this motel for a stop-over after going around the Saguenay fjord.
