“Very Relaxing and superb breakfast!”

We found Serendipity Bed and Breakfast based upon previous reviews and were very delighted that we stayed. Ross and Dolores are the most gracious owners and make you feel like family. We rented the Coach House which was very spacious and is like a home away from home. The grounds are very well kept and the breakfast will satisfy every taste (Dolores can cook!!)
The homemade Scotch Marmalade is a must with breakfast.
You will find Ross and Dolores' knowledge of the island to be very helpful and they also have a wide variety of maps, brochures of attractions and places of interest on the Island.
Several other members of our family also rented rooms in the main house and enjoyed their experience as well.
The property is for sale and anyone looking for a very well established turn key operation should give them a call they have done a wonderful job and made our trip extremely enjoyable. We would definately stay again!

“Best breakfast in the maritime provinces...”

Very nice people, and an outstanding breakfast, but we just were not comfortable; we ended our trip a day early to return to the predictable comforts of home. In all fairness, we had been on the road for over two weeks, and were pretty much exhausted. Plus we were still in the throes of withdrawal from the Lantern Hill and Hollow in Ingonish, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, which in retrospect was the most pleasantly unexpected high point of our trip. Whatever appeal PEI may have as a vacation destination was totally lost on us...

“Very functional and pretty little B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2010

We stayed one night in this very busy, very bustling B&B. Our check-in was very efficient and we liked our room. While the place wasn't spacious, nor intuitive, it was at least clean and tidy.
Like most of our stays in the Maritimes, internet was spotty if available at all despite what the managers tell you. But that's not why we came and we didn't care about internet service.
Breakfast was one of our most enjoyable, the dining room was full and we talked with people from very far away.
The food was less interesting, and although the hosts were obviously being challenged, the food was not coming in a timely way and there were many mistakes, which were all corrected quickly and apologetically.
I must agree that the price didn't quite match the service here, but I would return anyway, after all, I just came to sleep and have a nice breakfast, and Serendipity can deliver that.

My first trip to PEI was memorable due to my stay at Serendipity. They made me feel a part of their family. Any question I had was answered immediately. It was just very pleasant and actually the highlight of my trip there!

“An Excellent Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2010

Our stay at Serendipity Bed and Breakfast was fantastic. Dolores & Ross are a wonderful couple. They are very hospitable, making you feel at ease in their home. Their knowledge of the island and the recommendations were helpful in planning our day. The food is to die for – Dolores is a great chef! A superb dinner and Gourmet breakfasts, a different meal each day; waffles, French toast, served with starter and delicious banana bread. Offers for tea/coffee not only at breakfast with the best selection of teas I’ve ever seen.

The house is charming. We were able to sit enjoy the fresh air and sunsets on their enclosed porch looking out at their beautiful garden. Great location, it’s only a short drive from Cheltham Beach, Summerside and quite a few tourist attractions. They have a large selection of movies available to watch.

The Coach House was roomy, welcoming and comfortable! Cleanliness was great.
A great value and experience!
