Stopped in just for one night on a business trip. Large rooms, clean. Under renovations at the time. Friendly Staff. Could use new carpets and maybe a new TV.

Stayed here one night after a self-drive around the Atlantic provinces. We arrived back on the island fairly late and did not have a reservation. The price was high, in my opinion, for Super 8 but that seems to be a trend all across PEI - big city prices on lower-end chain properties (just a heads up). The front desk attendant who assisted us was polite and helpful. The room was clean and relatively quiet considering we were just behind the front desk. The included breakfast is nothing special - don't have high expectations for the hot food offerings and you won't be disappointed. I noticed a family restaurant across the parking lot - there were a lot of cars parked there in the morning so I'm guessing it is a good breakfast option.

Speaking of food...we arrived at 9:30 PM on a Tuesday night in late October (most definitely the off season) and finding a proper meal nearby was a challenge. Plan to drive further into Charlottetown (in which case, you may want to stay there as well) or eat prior to arriving (not many options between the bridge and the motel). There was a pub nearby, but the kitchen was closed for the night - drinks only!


I wouldn't avoid this place but I wouldn't describe it as anything special either. It was clean and functional. Enough said.

This property is relatively new, so it is clean and modern. Check in was smooth (although the desk person had to keep answering the phone) and the rooms are clean and modern. The big selling point for my younglings is the indoor salt water pool with an actual deep end (though no diving board).
Continental breakfast in the morning was nice. Wireless internet was speedy enough. Checkout was smooth (although again.. the phone)

This pet friendly hotel was our home while our dog had treatments at the Vet Hospital at UPEI and over three vistis we were treated like family. Continental Breakfast is included and is a hearty offering: cereal, juice, milk, fresh fruit, egg muffin type sandwiches and an assortment of bagels and breads for toast, plus tea and coffee service availble at all times. Clean non smoking facility with a basic but well equipped exercise room and an indoor pool. We would recommend for business or pleasure.
