“Such a wonderful stay at this hotel!”

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. When we originally planned this trip last March we had no idea that Prince William & Kate were going to be there around the same time. So when we arrived it was difficult to find rooms beyond a few days. We booked this hotel from June 26 to June 30th hoping to continue until at least July 2nd. Because of the excellent service at the front desk we were able to stay until the 3rd and not once did we have to change rooms. It made our trip so much more relaxed to stay in one room. The continental breakfast was very good and well looked after by the girls working in that part. Thanks to all of staff our stay was perfect.

“Reasonable place to stay in Charlottetown”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2011

Stayed at Comfort Inn Charlottetown in May 2011. Room was as advertised with 2 double beds. Space in room was adequate but not generous. Room was quiet with minimal traffic noise. Hotel is located away from downtown in an area with other chain hotels, near some shopping centres. Very nice Sobey's grocery store a couple of blocks away. Easily accessible from airport via bypass road and main road to downtown. Parking lot was a good size for all guests. Breakfast area in lobby was quite compact, but the included breakfast had many choices and added to the value of staying here. We had no problems with our stay, but missed being within walking distance of downtown area.

“Nice room, OK hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2011

The room was very clean and rather large for a double queen room. Std. Comfort Inn decor. Bed was comfortable and had four pillows. Advertises wifi in room, but the signal wasn't strong so I had to go the lobby, as did several others.Good, standard Comort Inn breakfast in lobby included.

“Great hospitality!”

Three friends travelling through the Martimes in June. We arrived late in the day and the parking lot was quite full but we found the nicest young man on the front counter and he worked with us to find a room to match our needs. What I loved about the place was that we could back the car up to the sliding glass window and unload right in to our room! That was fabulous given the amount of luggage we had. All amenities we could ask for and contrary to other reviews we had wireless internet and no problem accessing!
We only scheduled one night stay but after spending the next day driving to Anne of Green Gables and then driving around the upper west coast - we stopped for a wonderful Lobster dinner in Georgetown and then drove straight across and back to Charlottetown to stay aother night at the same place. We did not get the same room but we were treated equally as royally as the previous night. I think the continental breakfast was more than adequate and although the area was small - it's not a restaurant people - eat and move along!

“So so hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2011

Very small breakfast area. No wi-fi in rooms, only in front lobby. Power went out for two hours one night and no backup power or emergency lights in room. No offer to discount because of power outage until I kicked up a fuss over it, then they did offer a 30% discount. All in all, we won't be staying there again. There are several nice hotels in the same area.

The management of the hotel would like to offer our sincere apologies that your stay wasn't up to your satisfaction. It was unfortunate that the power went off in the city and made your stay less enjoyable. We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of our guests and try to ensure that each guest has a good experience. We do hope that you will give us the opportunity to redeem ourselves and stay with us again the next time you are on the Island.
