I was rather apprehensive about this Travelodge given all the really negative comments. However, my wife and grand kids checked in at about 8pm on Wed night, the eve of the Packer-Lions Game. The place was fairly busy, with lots of football revellers and younger (20ish) individuals who obviously Casino goers. Rating which we gave was relative to "every hotel in the world." But from a more pragmatic point of view, this was priced at $67 per night, and we would say that it is a 2 or possibly a 3 star hotel. Compared this way, we can say it was Very good. Hotel was fairly clean (two exceptions noted below). Staff was friendly, internet worked, pool clean and not used, breakfast was acceptable and filling and parking was available. Hotel is older but Travelodge needs to improve their housekeeping services. Two issues, toilet needed a good clean (stained but cleanable) and the seemed to have been crumbs in one of the beds. Since we had two youngsters and only noticed this at 10pm, we slept on top of the top sheet. We could have notified the front desk, however, the pain was not worth it. Also, given how the hotel responds to every negative comment, they would have simply ... thank you for the comments ... etc... In any case, I would stay at this place again. It is not the Ritz Carleton nor the Four Seasons, but we only paid $67 plus tax. Overall, I was satisfied.
