The night I went to check in my flight was delayed so I showed up late at night, when i went into my room I found out my internet was not working. Being too tired to bother that night I went to bed. The fallowing morning I called the front desk just to be told I need to call techsupport myself.after an hour of troubleshooting it was evident the problem laid with the hotels network setup...I then was brought cables which I had to install myself. The staff was so unhelpfull they wouldn`t give me or techsupport permission to test the problem in other areas of the hotel (wasting countless hours of my time.)
Then after the internet fiasco I was very upset, I went to speak to the manager whom informed me ``I don`t give a d*mn who you call I don`t care`` I was mad and stormed off saying I would call corporate office. The next day I went out to breakfast and then returned to find out the deactivated both my keys (which they claimed got demagnetized by my cellphone-impossible as the cards were in my wallet the entire time.)
Day 3 (my final day thankfully) I woke up having an asthma attack and covered in bedbug bites. Thankfully it was my last day as I was told policy is to NOT transfer customers to other rooms so to prevent the spread of bedbugs.
All in all a horrible experience, this hotel isnt far from hotel carter in NYC, this hotel is not suitable for any sort of travel, I would have had equal service at a 10$/night hostel. This hotel was worse than any place I stayed in Central America, so it isn`t just not up to par with American standards but not up to par ANYWHERE in my opinion.
