After a year since my last stay, I decided to give this hotel a second chance.
This time, HoJo met my expectations.

Check-in took a total of 15 seconds or so. My guest registration card was already pre-filled and room keys were prepared.

Bedding was clean, the blanket was in good shape, and the shower was clean. No sign of disrepair or dirt, in contrast to my last visit.

Even lighting in the room was adequate with the use of CFL bulbs, which took a little while to warm up. The heater was fairly quiet and followed the thermostat, automatically shutting off when not needed.

Wi-Fi was reasonably fast, Skype worked normally.

My only discomfort was with a loud exhaust fan in the bathroom: after a few minutes, the screeching and the humming would become annoying.

Verdict: great improvement, happy to stay again.

Where to start. The sheets were not clean. it was very tired, dirty and beat up. The bedding smelled like it had to been washed in ages. Polyester bed spreads, poor quality bedding and pillows. You can hear both rooms beside you the walls are paper thin. I could hear people talking on one side and people snoring on the other. The ice machine does not work.

The carpets were all stained and they need to be replaced badly. Better yet they need to blow this place up.

I am terrified that there are bedbugs

We stopped here for one night on our way to Tennessee. It was clean and close to restaurants which was perfect. The staff were great. The free breakfast in the morning was okay - not a lot of choice, but it got us on the road fast.

Stayed four nights and all the staff were very friendly and helpful (free printing / free fax sent to America). Comfortable and clean. Well located next to an excellent Applebees.
