We chose this hotel because it was close to our relatives' home. Overall we thought it was reasonable value for money. It was probably very luxurious when it was built - there was lots of marble and mahogany in the room, and huge chandeliers in reception and the breakfast room - but it's looking a bit dated now. The rooms were large but quite dark, although they had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We were originally given a room that only had a window facing into the hotel, but this was changed straightaway to a room with an external window when we asked.
