I stayed at above hostel couple of times. It is very clean and staff are very helpful and friendly. The price is very reasonable. It is close to down town.

Very basic, but clean! Tv in the room was positive surprise.

I was 1 guest of 15 that stayed at the All days house #2 during Caribana weekend 07'. Please know that the information is not clearly stated on the website. There are only 4 single rooms in the house, the rest are all double beds meaning they are 2 full size beds in each. Please be aware that if you are expected to share that 1 bed if you have a booking for 4 people ( 2 per bed).The linens were not cleaned daily, the linens that are on the beds are the ones that you have throughout your stay. The kitchen is filthy, I suggest you buy a disinfectant with bleach to clean before use. They did in fact offer the internet as well as phone, iron & ironing board, dishes, pots& pans. The central air only worked in certain areas of the house. We were told that we would have maid service everyday, well there was a guy that came and dumped the garbage twice but thats as fas as the maid service went. Use the laundry room with caution , its dark and gloomy. Your are not at the intersection of Javis & Dundas, you are on a street that is even frowned upon by the Toronto police. His advice to us was to never travel alone at night, don't carry allot of bags, have your keys ready to go in. You are between a strip club and a halfway house. Be prepared to see drug transactions off all kinds as well as paid sexual acts taking place. Oh lets not forget about the rats that live under the house that will run on the grass as if they were kittens playing. Now onto the infestation of insects. There were bedbugs, mites , misquitos, flies throughout the house. I slept in my bed 2 nights out of the 4 that I was there. I have over 50 bites all over my body that resulted in swelling of my eyes and hive like lumps on my arms. It is now two days after I have left Toronto and they are still there. With a good cleaning , an exterminator, fresh linens daily, and a officer on patrol this could be a nice play.
