“Great Experience!”

We enjoyed a splendid stay at the Suite Dreams B&B over New Year’s weekend. Mr. Tan maintains a spotless welcoming establishment. He communicated with us via e-mail several times before our arrival and gave us clear easy to use directions from the airport to his B&B via public transport. The B&B is located in a residential neighborhood with neatly kept homes and a lane way away from the Christie St. metro stop. Our room, the “Cathedral” with large bathroom en suite, was spacious, quiet and toasty warm. The whole house is wireless, so connection to the internet is super easy. Mr. Tan offers a large variety of breakfast choices and bottomless cups of coffee – and tasty at that. Our fellow guests (there are three guest rooms) were delightful and charming. Whenever we came back from an outing, Mr. Tan would offer us a hot cup of tea to take away the seasonal chill. We highly recommend Suite Dreams B&B if you want an “at home” experience while in Toronto. The location has ideal access to public transport, walking to neighborhoods (Queen West, Little Italy, Yorkville), museums and a very kind and informative host. There are many Asian restaurants on Bloor for a hearty local meal.

Room Tip: If you are a family ask for the Cathedral Suite.

“Best B&B ever!”

Albert made our stopover in Toronto a memorable one.Suite Dreams is close to the U of T and a few blocks from our son whom we phoned upon arrival.We were all served a welcome cup of tea and next morning enjoyed a very tasty breakfast,again joined by our son.Thanks Albert...you're the best!

owner was wonderful, very friendly and welcoming also upgraded our room free of charge. Cooked a great breakfast as well! highly recommend!

“A wonderful Toronto getaway”

My wife and I spent two nights at Suite Dreams during a long weekend in Toronto over the Christmas holidays, and we were extremely pleased. As many readers have noted, Albert Tan was a wonderful and charming host. The rooms were clean, with lots of natural light. Guests should perhaps be aware that Albert requests that you take off your shoes at the door. The en suite bathroom was clean and had a great shower (we only wish bars of soap had been provided). The rooms have free Wi-Fi, which we hadn't realized. When we noted that we hadn't brought our laptop, he immediately brought out an older laptop he owned and let us keep it in our room to use for the duration of our stay. Now that's good service! The location is outstanding, right in the heart of Koreatown, with lots of choices for restaurants right around the corner. The Christie subway stop is literally a 2-minute walk away. It's even close enough to downtown that we were able to walk there and then metro back. Breakfast was delicious, and there was lots of it. Albert served us coffee, orange juice, and large bowls of scrumptious fresh fruit with granola and yogurt -- and then he asked, "So what would you like for breakfast?" We realized all that was just the appetizer! He then offered a choice of French toast, omelettes, or cereal (we recommend the French toast). We enjoyed talking with Albert about his experiences living and traveling in places like Singapore, Hong Kong, and mainland China. All in all, a great experience -- highly recommended.

Very pleasant stay and outstanding host. Beds are very comfortable and Albert bends over backwards to help you and make it a pleasant stay.. Would highly recommend
