Stayed at this hotel for 8 nights while working in Toronto. Ambience works to make it seem more than just a hotel room for extended stay(which I think is the whole idea behind this concept!) We had a two bedroom suite with a living room and kitchen area. Really liked the working fireplace (gas)in the living room. Nice to sit and have a drink after a day at work. Each bedroom was self-contained with its own bathroom and tv so you could get away from your co-worker if desired. Kitchen was fully equipped but we rarely used it except for the fridge and micro wave. We left a list of grocery items with the front desk and it appeared the same day. The cost of items appeared on room bill. There was no extra charge for shopping.
The free breakfast at first seemed great! But as the days wore on seemed repetitive and industrial. NO ONE, I REPEAT, NO ONE ate the turkey bacon. This stuff was GOD AWFUL! As I sat and watched a busy breakfast room for 8 days people stayed away from the turkey bacon. Oh my kingdom for real bacon......One day I was all excited, looked like a version of eggs florentine,,,,I even had it out of the chaffing dish, practically on my plate...and then I saw it , hiding under the eggs and spinache...turkey bacon! I think the breakfast staff even realized it was a hard sell so they tried to trick us into eating it...SHAME!
Another positive note was the free shuttle to/from the airport.
