Booked this hotel very last minute in new years eve when we had mire house guests than expected. My partner and I opted to sleep here for the night after a priceline deal.
We checked in late after New Years Eve celebrations and Mercedes at the Frobt Desk was friendly and very genuine in her approach. She was definately a highlight.
The rooms decor was fine... Just not to my taste, a bit old fashioned. It was very clean!
The original room we were assigned had an alarm if some kind going off inside a locked closet, but this was quickly remedied with a call to the Front Desk and a new room.
My main fault with this hotel is how the room was laid out. I had to go to work early thenext day whereas my partner did not. The sink and ONLY mirror in the entire room us right off the bedroom with no separation between it and the bed. Not wanting to wake my partner by turning on the light, I was forced to shave and get ready for work without a mirror. Once at work I checked to make sure my tie was on straight and that my hair didn't have a cowlick!
Other than a sock on the floor outside the elevators as I was leaving and the police officers posted in the lobby (I'm sure as a precaution for new years and not a mainstay) this hotel was fine. But if management reads this... Put a mirror somewhere else in the room or separate the bedroom from the sink portion of the washroom with a door!
