Just stayed there and had a horrible experience. This hotel has a "bait and switch" marketing program. They advertise deluxe, spacious well appointed apartments in La Grande Residence and the pictures look great. Beware, they are real dives!
Our room was overheated and stuffy and the furniture looked like it was purchased at a yard sale. The paint was peeling in the bathroom. I haven't lived this poorly since I was in university.
When we asked to be upgraded we were given an outrageous price. When we threatened to move to another hotel after one unbearable night, we were given a reasonable price for a better room. At checkout the agreed upon price for the upgrade had suddenly increased by magnitudes. We could have stayed at a far nicer hotel for less.
If you like being treated like a chump by people with attitude then this is the place for you. Otherwise, try another hotel. There are lots of good ones who treat their customers well and value their business.
This one doesn't!
