Hadn't visited Toronto for over 20 years, lived there once upon a time. Used to view Toronto as cold and unfriendly. Pleasantly, completely changed my mind with this great global city. Best way to reintroduce myself to Toronto was through this hotel. Very warm and considerate owners--took their time out of busy day to give you a real sense of welcome. I have been many B&B's in Britain and Europe and was surprised that the best is in my own country. Price extremely reasonable for downtown Toronto, close to all the facilities. Breakfast was large and the best I have had in about 40 B&Bs. Caters to an international clientele which makes it interesting. Buildings and rooms are cozy late Victorian.

We have been staying at the Homewood Inn on our visits to Toronto for many years now and have always found it to be clean and friendly. This is NOT an expensive, fancy, pretentious luxury accommodation fit for snobs, but actually a very comfortable alternative and a real good value for the price. There is a great variety of rooms and fully self-contained suite-and room combinations available in three large older houses centrally located on a quiet street. The atmosphere is relaxed, the rooms homey, and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Like us, many Guests are 'regulars' and tend to be easy-going and friendly.

I have stayed at the Homewood Inn many times and have enjoyed my stay. THe security of the room is very good. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the price reasonable. The breakfasts were so quaint. The staff was so friendly and even the other guests were nice to talk to . I will be staying there again in a couple of months and am looking forward to it.

I have stayed at the Homewood many times and have never been disappointed. The location is ideal for those who want to be downtown. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The shared kitchen and bathrooms are well-maintained. Breakfasts are generous and served in a bright dining room. For me, I just park the car and walk or ride the transit anywhere I want to go. Taxi service is also prompt within 5 minutes, for those in a hurry. Coming back to the Homewood in the evening one can relax in the quiet rooms. I recommend the Homewood Inn to my friends and relatives who are planning to visit Toronto.
