We were given a voucher from Westjet to stay here as our flight was delayed in Puerto Plata which caused us to miss our connection in Toronto. We checked in at 11:30 pm last night. The staff was the best ever. Starting with a pleasant check-in, to fabulous service when orderring food @ bar to bring to our room, (since we had not eaten all day) right down to the bell-man handing my family warm cookies while they were waiting for all this to finish.
My children feel asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillows and they told me in the morning it was because the beds were so comfy!

Thurs. Jan. 12, 2012 my husband and I were given coupons to stay at the airport doubletree by air canada after a flight cancellation. 8 days later he started showing several dozen bed bug type bites (they can show up shortly after to 2 weeks after the bite). I started scratching a couple days after. We are now quite covered in the bites.

We stayed on what I think was an unrenovated floor in the hotel that... left a lot of be desired in terms of decor, modernity, odour etc. but we were there for one night, so what the heck.

Anyway, there's no real way to say for sure, but I would be pretty surprised if it was something else.

its that warm cookie when you check in that keeps us coming back....or is it the amazing staff.....its everything. hey to manny at the bar your the best!!!! the staff are amazing.....awesome location...the beds are to die for. we come here for the park and fly a couple times a year. the best place to stay....

I stayed one night for a conference and it couldn't have been better.

The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Great choice of restaurants. Room was spacious and bed comfortable.
