It helps to start the day on a positive note.

Met the Director of Sales and Marketing, Ms. Nadia Gelmo. V. kind person and a great asset for this Hotel. I know, I used to work at the Chatreau Frontenac (Fairmont Hotel) in Québec City.
She helped me with my faxes, answered questions I had and she gave me a little souvenir, a nice Holiday Inn pen (writes well).

When I registered, the lady at the front desk was very friendly too.

Got my bill under the door early morning. Didn't have to check out.

All these little details made my séjour more agreable.

There is a great pool, souvenir shop and nice restaurant.

Will return there When I'm back in Toronto.

nicely updated, clean and reasonably priced hotel, conveniently located close to the Toronto Congress Centre. Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here on January 18th before trip down south. Got up at 4 AM for shower before heading to airport and NO HOT water. Ran the water for a while and it never did warm up. Guess if your only there for a short time they don't give you hot water or maybe you have to wait to 6 am till they turn it back on. Otherwise hotel is your average Holiday Inn.

I stayed here a night before flying out of Pearson and was impressed with the renovations from the year before---the carpet in the hallways must have just been laid as there was the new carpet smell. Check-in was quick and the agent was very nice, plus, I used the shuttle service from and to the airport and both drivers were very professional and friendly. Note: for the return shuttle you need to let them know when checking in so they can give you a shuttle ticket.

The room assigned to me was on floor two and it was spacious enough for one night though not as big as the one I had the previous year. It was room 237 and I think all the 37 rooms are the ones tucked away in the corner. The only drawback for this room if you have an extended stay is that unlike most of the rooms here with floor to ceiling windows, this one has a tiny window.

The bathroom was down a little hallway close to the entry door. The advantage to this little hallway is that it provided distance from the main door so noise was not a problem at all, however, the heater was by the window and it never seemed to get to the bathroom resulting a cooler room to shower in.

Overall, I would certainly stay here again for those quick nights when I have an early flight as the room and hotel was very clean. The restaurant did not look appealing though, but just a few mins of walking and there are other restaurants and a Timmies close by. The high speed wireless operated very well too.
