A few years ago, I went to this hotel and the service was terrible. I stayed away because of it. But I recently returned, reluctantly, because I was attending a function and it was just so convenient to stay in the same location. I am glad I did. The service this time was great. The check in lines were very long because so many people were attending the same event but they processed us quickly and had someone making sure everyone in line was ok. The rooms look the same as they did a few years back although a bit warn in some places. But the room is a good size, the TV is nice, the view is great, the room was VERY quiet and the beds were comfortable. The shower was not as warm as I like it in the morning, but it was manageable. We did not eat at the hotel but we did try their specialty Martini in Azure and it is fantastic (and I am not a big martini drinker) although the price is not for the faint of heart!. I usually use valet parking but decided to self park this time. It was really simple and a lot less expensive. Unless you are carrying a lot (we could only find stairs to get to the hotel), I would recommend the self park. Rarely do I change my mind on a location, but this hotel is now back in my good books.
