Stayed four nights "Boxing Week" visiting friends. We are confident the aging hotel has first-class service but we didn't try any of the restaurants, utilize the concierge or conference facilities, so all I can comment on is the room. Booked superior king room at corporate rate at just under $200/night, which is at least over $100 less than the regular rate that week. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and especially quiet. Bed was excellent and housekeeping fine. However, the bathroom was small with outdated fixtures (low counter-top, low toilet) and the plastic on/off knob for the shower was something you'd expect at a budget motel. On the plus side, the location is superb, with boutique stores, coffee houses and trendy shopping nearby. A new hotel will be opening in 2012, and it's probably a good time to refresh the Four Seasons brand in Toronto.

Thank you for your note. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed our spacious guestrooms, as well as the fantastic Yorkville neighbourhood. We also appreciate your comments regarding the washrooms, and thank you for your feedback. I am sure that you will be pleased to learn that our brand-new hotel will also be located in the same neighbourhood, just two blocks down the street from our current hotel, and will be steps away from world-class museums, boutiques, galleries, and cafes. I very much look forward to welcoming you back to Toronto soon.
Warmest Regards,
