When I arrived a plane happened to be landing at the airport revealing that the hotel is under the flight path. Despite that, the room was very quiet. The location on the flight path was not an issue. The arrival area is small, so instead of transferring my bags to my room from the lobby, I parked the car in the garage and hiked to my room. This was the only negative of the trip in that I to walk a fair way. The garage connects to the hotel’s second level and I was on the 4th and in a room near the centre of the hotel. I’m not sure how they would do it, but being able to take your bags out at the main door and up to your room before parking would be a bonus. One way to improve things would be to assign parking patrons to rooms with numbers above 30. Then the hike is considerably shorter.
At the desk, I was greeted by a friendly and efficient desk staff that made check-in fast but had to make me aware of the $10 charge for parking. A little disappointed with that but they have to pay for the parking garage I guess.
The room was brightly appointed with unique murals and bed stand lamps. The bathroom was unique in that there was no fully closed shower stall, just a half glass barrier. No problem with spashing, though. The sink drain must have been clogged because it was slow.
Outlet on desk top lamp does not work.
Parking lot costs $10 plus it can be far from the rooms numbering less than 30.
The restaurant was nicely appointed and the server was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the tilapia which was very nicely prepared with crisp vegetables and roasted potatoes. I finished with the tasty lava cake with ice cream.
