We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago when it was very new. At that time, we were excited about it. This time we were pleased but the rose-coloured glasses were off.
At the front desk we were greeted by a lovely young woman who was so friendly and personable. She was everything a hotel reception staff person should be! We were able to get into our room at an early afternoon hour which was great. The room was 'large' according to the map in the directory. This was probably because of there being two queen size beds. Everything was spotless. We did notice that no glasses were in the room~only styrofoam cups which was a turnoff. A fridge and microwave were good features. We did not use the coffee maker. The beds turned out to be extremely comfortable and the tv was a large one. The bathroom was a decent size with plenty of towels.
I used the small pool for jogging but my husband was extremely disappointed that the hot tub was only lukewarm. There are many towels available in this pristine, clean pool area.
Breakfast was good. The oatmeal, however, had turned to paste by the time we arrived. There was a variety of breads, cereals, etc. for any taste. Coffee was readily available. A large t.v. with many tables and comfy sofa chairs made for a good eating area.
Two computers are available in the lobby free of charge which is certainly a 'plus'.
In closing, I must add that every employee with whom we had contact was more than congenial. This is astounding for any hotel these days!
