“Dirty and Disgusting”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

We arrived in town without a reservation, had just driven 10 hours and needed to stop for the night, and checked at another hotel first - they were booked full and recommended we check this hotel because "they had 40 open rooms last we checked".
Well, I know why they still had 40 open rooms and everything else was full for the night after we stayed here for a single night.

The hotel is incredibly poorly marked at the entrance (its a small 2 foot square sign that says 'Quality Inn' that you can't see until you get to the door. The parking lot is very dark - a trend that also continues throughout the hotel in the halls, lobby and (scary small and smelly) elevator.

We had a single queen room on the 4th floor. The elevator was incredibly dirty and dark, the disgusting vent fan in the ceiling should have been replaced about 10 years ago.
The bathroom was very small and had absolutely no counter space. All of our bathroom items ended up on the floor in front of the bathroom door as it was the only spot left. The toilet has to be the smallest toilet we've ever seen. As a bonus, the switches for the lights and fan in the bathroom are in the wall outside the bathroom.
The AC unit had a musty smell and didn't work very well.

The free wi-fi was horrid, the connection was very flaky and unreliable. In an effort to actually get something done I tried to use the hotel computer in the 'business center' room in the lobby, While this PC had a great connection the browser kept crashing out and stopped working entirely.

For the price we paid (~$150USD) I expected *a lot* better. Virtually any other hotel in the area costs less and I'm sure would have been preferable. Too bad everybody else beat us to the better spots.

“With Help, They Can Be Good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 July 2011

I needed help for a night and they provided what a hotel should provide. It is not in the greatest place of Greater Sudbury, but the hotel service is #1!

“Disgusting”

I do not reccomend this hotel at all. First of all it is in an extremely seedy part of town, and is quite terrifying entering the tiny front door from the dimly lit parking lot.

The hotel is DARK and the elevator is tiny and is OLD! The room we had had 2 double beds - it stank of stale cigarettes - absolutely disgusting! The tiny window AC did nothing to cool off the room in the heat, and we were sweating in our sleep!

The noise from water noise/pipes from other guests showering was horrendous and woke us up each morning.

The TV didn't work - someting they knew about when we checked in but failed to tell us!

The room was dark, dirty - the bathroom was stained with dirt in the corners.

The pool area was dark and dingy...disgusting pool!

Overall for the price of over $150/night it was absolutely DISGUSTING! There are far nicer hotels in Sudbury for the same price!

Don't stay here!

Room Tip: Don't stay here

“Good place to stay , delicious Restaurant on location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2011

Stayed one night.
Great reception , very efficient , friendly and professional
Smoke free hotel, room were spacious and clean good rates
It was my wife's birthday and we were looking for any hotel with a restaurant nearby after being all day on the road.
This hotel has the Bridges Bistro on premises.
Man , best tasting salmon ever ( Salmon Florentine) and my better half got a Srimp stir fry which also was so delicious.
Parking and entrance is a bit arkward stay on the left side for a flatter area
Hotel is near a major highway but the hotel has good sound proofing and noise is not an issue.
CAA-AAA hotel

“fantastic hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2011

recently my company had meetings at the quality inn, with delegates from out of town attending. we were all very impressed of the overall experience and how the staff made coordinating the meetings and guest rooms for my colleagues a breeze, they also reaved about how great their experience at bridges bistro was in the evening, followed by the 390 lounge downstairs, the amenities are great too, we didnt have to leave the hotel for anything. thank you troy, melina and staff for taking care of us so well.
