We stayed at Bentley's Inn for one night this week. It was a Tuesday night. We went to see Dallas Green (City and Colour) Concert at Centre in the Square in Kitchener. I was able to snag a Groupon for Bentley's which was a real deal. We paid $59 per night for a two level loft suite. We received Room 106 and experienced none of the problems that the previous poster had. It was quiet and perfect. The staff were more than welcoming as we did not arrive until almost midnight. They came out front and helped us with our bags and directed my husband to parking. The deal also came with a $10 voucher to be used in the restaurant. Since the kitchen was closed, they allowed us to use that towards drinks in the bar before retiring for the night. We were amazed at the Manhattan type suite. On the main floor was a kitchenette with bar sink, fridge, microwave, dishes, cups and coffee maker. There was a small dinette as well. We had a king size tempur-pedic mattress (so comfy), large flat screen tv and two storey window. Upstairs was another single bed (tempur-pedic as well), another flat screen tv and fireplace. The beautiful bathroom with large showerhead and glassed in shower was upstairs.
We could not have been more pleased.
We ate breakfast at Jesse's Deli (newly opened) which is also on Ontario Street and it was great. Monday to Friday before 11 their breakfast special is $3.99 for two eggs, bacon/sausage or ham, homefries, toast and coffee. You can't beat it. The interior is very nice with tin ceilings, brick walls, pot lights and paintings.
You can choose between the Annex rooms which offer one king or two queens but we chose the Lofts at 99.
Thank you Bentley's for such a great spot (not to mention an amazing deal!!)
Our 19 year old son was with us. He got the loft and said he had an amazing sleep too!
Only down side is the bathroom is upstairs but since the stairway was wide and carpeted, it wasn't really a big deal.
