Travelled to this B&B shortly after a serious attack of diverticulitis (infection in the large intestine) I did not know if I could eat everything on the breakfast menu and advised my host of such. The first morning there was quiche on the menu and when I woke up I didn't feel I could handle it. I asked instead for a soft boiled egg. The response I got from our hosts was: "You should have told us last night." and "I really don't have time." How long does it take to place an egg in boiling water for 3 minutes? I was given dry toast and as an afterthought asked if I wanted jam with that. The menu the next day was supposed to be plain pancakes. The hosts changed this to pecan pancakes. I couldn't eat nuts, not because of allergies but because of my weakened condition. The host blamed me for not telling them in advance about not being able to eat nuts. My friend piped up that they were the ones who told us what they were serving and I was OK with that. They're the ones who made a switch without advising us. I am outraged by the lack of customer service. And the regular breakfast was quite sparse...pecan pancakes with a couple of blueberries chasing each other on the plate. I definitely do not recommend this place. Breakfast was at 8:30m sharp. You snooze, you lose. Rude service, unfriendly, and not generous.
