We stayed here for 4 sleeps while visiting the Niagara region. I doubt we could have made a better choice. Watching the Buddy and Judy show while having their excellent breakfasts was an experience I'll never forget.

If like me you hate getting up in the morning and having breakfast with strangers, you still will not be able to resist the charm of Judy and Buddy, the owners of Bala Place B&B. When they say "it's your home, too," they mean it. We stayed in the large room with en suite bath which, like the rest of their home, is immaculate. These owners think of everything; besides soap and shampoo, they put extra towels in your dresser! The B&B is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. The queen bed is comfortable. The only drawback may be that for those who are not accustomed to apartment bathrooms, this one is small. The shared bath for the other two rooms is more spacious but opt for the larger room, a bargain at $100 a night. Convenient to wine routes on Lakeshore Road and to Beamsville area wineries. Get GPS with your rental car if you plan to visit on your own.

Buddy and Judy could not have been better hosts. They truly gave us a memorable, happy stay. You will be 100% satisfied and pleased. Thank you, Buddy and Judy, you are a credit to the community and to your families

From the moment we arrived, Judy and Buddy made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Their affable manner made us feel like we were visiting long-time friends. Their home is comfortable, convenient, attractive, and clean. The location is on a secluded cul de sac, so it's quiet and peaceful, but close to the main highways. The garden is lovely with plenty of places to relax. The rooms are comfortable although we did not have an attached bathroom. The food was great too. I would love to go back and spend more time there. St. Catharines is a great area to stay in for touring he Niagara area.
