My wife and I stayed at the Brockwell Chambers at the end of a long trip through Canada and found it easily to be the best of numerous B&B's of our travels. Unassuming from the outside, but comfortable, well maintained, detailed, warm and friendly on the inside. Maria adds a definite note of elegance and sophistication to an operation that accommodates your schedule beautifully. Morning breakfasts are hearty while maintaining an authenticity and creativity reflecting Maria's style. Great access point for the Agawa Canyon train tour. Besides being great support, Maria's husband, Sardar, adds an interesting dimension to understanding the regions history and development.

We were in Sault Ste Marie to take the train trip into the Agawa Canyon to see the fall colors. We chose the Brockwell Chambers and were very pleased. Some friends of ours stayed at a big name hotel just across the street from the train depot and we were a few blocks at this lovely B&B. We thought we would have a sack breakfast waiting for us for our 7:15 a.m. departure time that morning, but no indeed. A full and delicious breakfast was elegantly served in their diningroom. Maria was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing her delightful recipes. Our room and en suite bathroom were quite spacious. In comparing notes with the big hotel group, we definitely had the better end of the deal including a very reasonable price.

This is a very high quality B & B with a classy proprietor. She has made this house into a very clean, well appointed place. We had the Yellow Room which has a Jacuzzi tube and a very nice stained glass window in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. I looked in several rooms and all were very nice and larger than usual.

A second benefit is it is a two block walk to a fabulous restaurant, Arturo's. We, being from SF, found the food to be wonderful with very good service.

One can find the place realatively easily.

Sept/2010 We absolutely loved our 2 night stay at Brockwell Chambers. The house was charming as was our room, the pink one. All our needs were met. The breakfasts were fabulous as was the hostess and host. Hope to stay there again.
