We stayed here only one night, but would definitely stay again. For a value hotel, we were really pleased. The rooms were very large. We are a family of four with a very busy toddler and there was plenty of room. The room was very large and clean, as so was the bathroom. The best thing about the hotel, though, was the service. We had some noisy neighbours and I called down to the front desk to complain. She apologized and said she would take care of it immediately. By the time I hung up the phone I already heard her knocking at our neighbour's door. She did take care of it immediately and we had no trouble after that.
After we checked out, I realized an hour later that I had forgotten the charge cord for my iPhone. I called the hotel back and she put me on hold while someone ran up to my room to check. Moments later she told me the cord was at the front desk waiting for me.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for value without compromising on service or cleanliness.

Stayed here in Sept while traveling to Eastern Ontario from Manitoba and again on our return trip mid-October ... have no complaints ... clean and comfortable ... will stay here again and highly recommend the S.S.Maria Super 8.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel again couple days ago...room was clean and quiet, staff friendly! We have stay'd in this hotel several times and are yet to have an unpleasant time!

Nothing fancy here, place to stay. Make sure you specify that you want a non-smoking room. The room was clean, however it was a smoking room and reeked like an old ashtray. Still smelled it on our cloths when we left the next day. Linens and bed were clean, bed was somewhat comfortable.
