Hotel wasgreat. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable , and the hotel was in central location by the river. The staff were always friendly and accomodating. Air conditioing in room was fantastic, but the hallways and excercise room were warm. Indoor parking in winter would be a be a big plus. Staff in small restaurant on site were friendly and the food was basic but excellent. The homemade bread was particurarly good.

A friend and I visited Sault Ste. Marie on a whim and ended up staying overnight at the Travelodge. WOW! What a great experience! The front desk staff were so helpful and pleasant! Our room was clean, bright, and comfortable! Would recommend for anyone visiting Sault Ste. Marie!

Pros: Friendly staff, decent location by the water, strong internet connection and modern up to date rooms that were clean and of decent quality. The price was moderate. A little high but it was an overall good experience.

The Con: If your staying with pets you have to stay in a smoking room (a policy not mentioned on expedia when booking). This is a rather out of date policy that many hotels have abandoned and for two non-smokers definetly lowered the quality of experience.

If i was staying without the pet or if I was a smoker I'd certainly give it another chance. If they ever change their policy I'd also give it another go. Otherwise if your a pet owner and a non-smoker check out another location that has a pet friendly policy.

Big, clean comfortable room. Helpful staff. Good location, good parking.
