I have used the inn’s own description because it is spot on. The Victorian decor is a feast for the eyes and what a great location – it’s a 15min walk to the canal or head either way to Rue Elgin or Rue Bank for places to eat. Richard, the host, is unassuming and he cooks a mean breakfast - there’s a different hot item every morning. The rooms are quaint with small or shared bathrooms. There’s a free dryer and washer which we found really handy – they even provide laundry liquid. For parking there are 5 squeezy parking spaces behind the house to be shared on a first come first serve basis between the 12 rooms. I recommend this place if you want something more memorable than a sterile hotel room.
