First time visitor to Ottowa and found this B&B to be in a great location - so close to the National Art Gallery (you have to see the the giant bronze spider, Maman, created by Louise Bourgeois) and Byward food district. Bike hire is just opposite the Art Gallery (the Bixi, public bicycle sharing system) and makes travel around the city very easy and fun! Wendy was a great host and I loved swapping stories over breakfast of her travels and mine. Breakfast was a feast and with a belly full of goodness you knew your day of adventure was off to a good start.
Recommended and would definitely return!

Unique and well located, Byward B & B is the perfect place to stay on your trip to Ottawa. Run by the delicious Wendy, who welcomes you and makes your stay most memorable, Byward B & B is spotless, artsy and comfortable.

Stayed at the Byward B&B for only 2 nights in the heat of August and had a most amazing and epic stay... conveniently located for touristy-type activities, very private, clean, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere... the personality of the proprietor was all around and made it feel much homey thus. Wendy was a joy during breakfast and had a wonderful discussion with the other guest... amazing experience all around!

Country hospitality in the heart of the city made this a lovely stay. We also had with us our 9 month old daughter and she was well received breakfast each morning was tasty and fresh and served promptly by Wendy our host who had great local recommendations.
