We stayed in a twin cell which was clean and had enough space for our bags etc with bunk beds, a small desk with chair and a cupboard.
The cells have been renovated to incorporate 3 cells to make 1 room but maintained the prison style - including bars onto the corridors and arched ceilings meaning that you can hear what's going on in any room on the corridor. This wasn't a problem whilst we were there as everyone was quiet after 11pm as requested by the hostel staff, but it was strange to have to whisper even when you're in a private room not a dorm!
One problem we had was that we were quoted one price on hostelbookers, but when we arrived, we were told this didn't include taxes and that the % we had paid to hostelbookers was in fact an additional fee not part payment (this is not usual with hostelbookers and so think it is the hostel's issue that they need to sort).
The bathrooms were clean and well lit. The kitchen is fantastic. The breakfast was tasty and included warm hard boiled eggs.
The location of the hostel is great, only a couple of minutes walk to the main street and a few minutes more to the parliament buildings. It's also easy to get to the train station on the 95 bus whish stops outside the shopping mall which is opposite the hostel.
All in all a good stay, though we wouldn't have wanted to spend more than one night in the cell...it was just a bit too cell-like for us, but that is the idea!
