I stumbled upon this quaint B&B because I couldn't find a hotel room in Ottawa for a poorly planned business trip. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I met some interesting people, in addition to the marvelous hostess Maria. The breakfasts prepared by Maria were unique and delicious, and my room was clean, quiet, and quaint. I look forward to returning upon my next visit to our nation's capital.

Maria has many repeat and regular customers and is justifiably renowned for her outstanding breakfasts. She smoothly meets any special dietary needs of a guest. Free parking and Internet were great plusses for me. The thoughtful amenities unobtrusively made available are too numerous to name. I stayed for 6 nights to attend a demanding course. I slept well and everything worked properly in the room (#4) and in the large private bathroom. There was not a single hiccup with any part of my stay at Ambiance. Maria is smart and caring and has clearly found a wonderful business for herself and for us!

This was a lovely quaint Bed and Breakfast, in a good location and we had a very enjoyable stay. As with a lot of Bed & Breakfasts, it wont be to everyones taste and there are a lot of rules to adhere too. However, if you are happy with the rules then you can have a nice stay in Ottowa. Marie is very knowledgeable about the local area and ask her if you want her recommendations on where to go and where to eat. She will be more than happy to advise you.

Maria is a marvelous hostess. Her b&b is spotless and her breakfasts delicious and better than I could have imagined. I was in Ottawa for 10 days during a difficult time for me and my stay at Ambiance was everything that I needed - central location within walking distance to the very centre of Ottawa, a place where I could rest and feel totally safe in the evenings, and in the mornings enjoy Maria's delightful company while enjoying a nourishing and gourmet meal to start the day. I highly recommend Ambiance and would definitely stay again.
