I was there a few times now this year. The last time they upgrade me to a buisness suite whuch was amazing

We stayed here twice in the process of relocating to Ottawa. It was very convenient to our new neighbourhood, location may be a minus if you are going to be spending a lot of time downtown - however it is only a short driver to the park & ride for the bus. Rooms were a good size and the king beds were very nice. We visited the pool & hot tub both times which we had to ourselves. Service was good, and the breakfast was nice but simple.

The only issue we had was with parking - on one of our stays there had been a snowstorm recently and some of the parking lot hadn't been cleared so there were no spots for us - we had to park in a taxi spot & advised the front desk.

- service was prompt and check-in was quick
- we stayed in a Business room (1 king bed) which was fairly priced for the area, the room included a sitting area with couch/microwave/fridge and TV and a separate bedroom with TV .
- room was clean and well maintained
- bed was comfortable, clean and had lots of pillows ;)
- Room was very quiet which was great consider we could see planes landing on the runway from our window
- this particular room already had a computer setup with free wireless
- nice sitting area in lobby and breakfast area

We had a very smooth stay at the Days Inn. We have stayed at this chain before and have always been pleased, that being said, we have never had any issues and our stays have been short so I can't really comment on their level of service should there be a problem.

Some small thing I would point out are:

- elevator is slow
- towels were a bit scratchy
- only two handicapped parking spaces
- cheaped out on the cable TV, not as many channels as we had expected

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of our king suite. We were put into a one bedroom with a sleeper sofa in the next room. Rooms were very clean and bright. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast had a nice variety. The location was great for visitting people in Nepean and Barrhaven with plenty of ammenities nearby.
