Seven adults with three rooms (two king suites & one king studio) stayed this past week. Overall we are very happy with the hotel. The front desk and housekeep staff were very helpful, polite and eager to assist. The parking garage was not suiteable for our extended passenger van but there were spaces available directly outside the back entrance. The rooms were fantastic! Two of ours had full kitchens, only thing missing was a kettle. The rooms were extremely spacious and if I could change one thing it would be the mattress's on both the bed and the pull-out couch. Definately not comfortable enough for an extended stay. The Fitness centre and pool were clean, however I would suggest a "quiet adult time" for the pool, maybe from 9-10PM. We went to the pool at 8:00 and were immediately bombarded with atleast 15 school aged children there for a hockey tournament. We had to leave for all the screaming and splashing. This weekend was the beginning of Winterlude and this hotel is in the perfect location. You have plenty to do near by without driving anywhere. The ice carving competition in Confederation Park is a two min walk down the street and the Rideau Canal Skateway is a three min walk. Parliment buildings are around the corner and can be seen from some of the rooms. The breakfast included each morning far exceeded our expectations. Not just a ceral and bagel breadkfast. There were scrambled egg, sausage, hashbrowns and beans in addition to muffins, pancakes, waffles.
