Wanted a overnight stay after a late flight. Showed up at midnight. Was given fast friendly service. Room was clean, basic and a bit drab. The breakfast the next morning was included, though calling it plain would be complimentary. Not a memorable hotel, but served it's purpose.

We spent a night here after a day's shopping and wanted to a comfortable, clean room. That's what we got; the only bonus was a mini bar fridge in the room. The room itself was a little dated with some wear and tear but the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The halls and elevator needed some cleaning and the included continental breakfast offered from 6:30 to 9:30 was very basic; pre-packaged muffins and cereal. The coffee was okay! If you just want a clean place to sleep at a reasonable price, close to a shopping mall, then this is it.

I have traveled twice to Ottawa in the past two weeks, the second time with my entire team and both times stayed at the WelcomInn. The staff were very hospitable, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and the modest, free continental breakfast was sufficient. Also, being right across the street from the St. Laurent shopping centre and easily accessible to the 417,made this hotel a great deal.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a good option if you don't find something cheap in downtown Ottawa. It's not far from the city centre but you do need to take a bus. So, if you are there for one or two nights it's not a big deal.

Hotel is average, well organized and with spacious clean rooms. Free breakfast is quite good, including toast, muffins, fruits, juices, coffee, tea, etc!

A good option :)
