We stayed in this lovely B&B after a terrible trip to Mexico. We were never so happy to be home and in Canada. We stayed in January and this place was toasty warm and so cozy. It was so great to use the internet in the main lobby at my leisure while gazing out the lovely large bay window. Breakfast was fresh and fantastic. Our room was on the very top floor which could be a bit of a climb for some travellers however we had my friends son to carry our luggage and the ladies at the B & B helped as well so it was all good. Our room could have used a bar fridge but it seems each room has it's own fire escape (at least the ones I saw) so we set our items in need or refrideration outside on the fire exit. We certainly felt safe in the event of fire! Albert House Inn is really convieniently located. We were just across the street from a 24 hr Quickie Mart and there were Pubs and restraunts within easy walking distance. The Parlament Buildings , the Rideau Canel and Chateau Laurier were only a couple streets over. I would have loved to stay longer but sadly, we wasted all our money in Mexico. We should have vacationed in Ottawa! This is a really pretty B&B. Staying at Albert House Inn the last night away was the best part of our vacation. I wouldnt hesitate to book again.
