We stayed here for three days on our recent road trip through parts of Canada.

We had a large King room which was very tastefully decorated - the bathroom was large and comfortable with a lot of counter space, the room had a refrigerator, the linens were first rate and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was easy, there was an in house coin laundry, professional and courteous staff and a small restaurant in the basement.

We are not early risers on a trip like this and each day we went for a late breakfast. The restaurant is very small but the service, provided daily by Francine, was excellent and friendly. We ate there each day and found the prices reasonable and the food good. We would recommend that too.

We toured Ottawa and even made a day trip to Montreal - a bit of a drive at the low speed limits (compared to the US) but enjoyable - and Macies hotel was a welcome place to return each evening.

Had to stay overnight in town on short notice - they were great we were very comfortable the room was huge - only one small negative - could not see tv from the bed ( I like my home comforts).

We stayed here one night on our way to Montreal. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part was the comfortable bed - it had a nice pillowtop. They don't have a free breakfast which many Best Western and other hotels of this level have though they do have a restaurant onsite. It was a bit pricey especially when it doesn't include a breakfast. It is a nice enough hotel to recommend to others.

I was visiting a friend and because of extenuating circumstances had to stay in a hotel room the final night I was there. I got a quote for the cheapest room over the phone in mere seconds, check in was a breeze, and the lady at the front desk was more courteous and caring and couldn't be happier to make my stay better.

The room was worth the price, the bed was super comfy, a plethora of pillows were neatly arranged and set up for me, the room as a whole was very clean and tidy (no vermin or leftovers from past guests), the bathroom was stocked with toiletries and was not lacking in anything.

Checkout was a breeze, and the wake up call was right on time as well.

All in all a very good stay. I thought for a one-night stay it exceeded my needs far above and beyond what I expected, and I was happy to have stayed there.
