“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2011

We stayed here for 4 nights as a base for exploring Toronto and Niagara. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. We had a double bed, double sofa bed and an inflatable double bed. Breakfast stuff (there was a good choice) was laid out each morning on a sideboard in the corridor and you helped yourself and took it back to the room. There was a kettle, fridge, toaster and microwave in the room. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions and local maps.

“Good location. Dated but clean 7 functional.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2011

Small eccentric hotel. Clean and functional. Furniture and decor dated. Very helpful staff. Don't expect Hilton/Holiday Inn type service or accommodation. No room service/restaurant. Croissants were sometimes stale. Take breakfast from landing to your room to eat. We had food delivered and it was no problem. Central location to Downtown Oakville.

“Just a delightful place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 April 2010

Well I came with my colleagues on Monday night for a convention. I was greeted by a young lady, she was just so sweet. She got all of us settled in and made us some tea so we can rest well. our rooms were well cleaned and very delightful. I most especially loved the area. The have good connection with a nice restaurants in the area so they always keep us informed on which restaurants is good to go to and one of the front desk people helped us get some snack that we could eat (as we were always on the go). I also love that homy like feel that it has. You don't feel like your away from home but your at home. The breakfast was nice and simple so there was no complaint there. all in all everything was great and they helped us do an early check out the night before and got us a taxi to pick us up at 5 am the next morning. They were just great.

“It is an old beat up inn.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2009

The hotel was mediocre at best and the breakfast was barely even existent.
The breakfast barely even qualifies as a continental breakfast - terrible croissants, bruised apples - but the banana was good.
The hotel was a little dirty and the rooms were OLD.

On the positive - there were no bugs. It wasn't disgusting. And the guy at the desk was nice enough. And the location is excellent - convenient to downtown Oakville.

“Cute Bed and Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 June 2008

what a cute place. My husband and I have lived in Oakville for over 21 years and never noticed this spot. After our daughters stayed there, they recommended the place. So we took the oppourtunity we went out for dinner then staye one night-it was lovely. I recommend it.
