This was my first trip to Canada, and I must say I truly enjoyed my vacation at this hotel. Spent Christmas with relatives living in the Oakville area and we were able to explore the city and get back home within 30 minutes. Our room had a double bed, with a flat screen tv to keep my six year old occupied. He missed nothing from the states, they had same programs so he was very happy about that. Also the breakfast was very good with a variety to choose from, as well as free wi-fi and a printer just in case we had to print something. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be back the next time we come to Canada.

This was my first experience at the Country Inn and I was very pleased. As noted by others, breakfast and wi-fi are included. The wi-fi was an absolute necessity on this business trip and it never let me down. For the price, I was expecting just a continental breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the abundance of hot food, cereals, breads, yogurts and juices. What really sets this place apart is the personalized service. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Special mention to Andrew, Lina and Amanda at the front desk who made my business trip to Oakville very memorable.

I'm from Oakville, but have lived in Ottawa now for the past 10 years so we often travel back to visit family and friends and need a place to stay. In the past it was just the wife and me, so we didn’t really care to much about the hotel we stayed in so long as it was cheap. That’s changed now that we’re older and have a 3 year old daughter. We've since stayed at several Hilton Garden Inn's which we have enjoyed, but for this trip we couldn't find one for less that $150 per night at the Oakville or Burlington locations. So all things considered - and given the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor (which have never led me astray) - we decided to book this hotel.

This was our first experience with at the Country Inn and we were very pleased. We booked online directly with the hotel for a room with two queen beds for two nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. At that time the Country Inn Oakville was ranked #2 in Oakville on Tripadvisor. Breakfast was included as well as free wi-fi (which I’m afraid to admit is now a must for us on any trip!) for $110 (CDN) per night plus taxes (which was very reasonable). As other reviewers noted, the staff were all very friendly and check-in-check-out was a breeze (we greatly appreciated this after the 6+ hour drive from Ottawa!). The room itself was very clean and large (which was great for the little-one), quiet and the a/c worked like a charm (it hit 30 C on Thanksgiving weekend, so we were very happy about that!). There was a 32” LG flatscreen in the room as well which we easily hooked-up to our HP netbook. Breakfasts were much better than I had anticipated with hot food (bacon, eggsm French toast), a Belgian waffle maker, cereals, breads, yogurts, good coffee and an assortment of juices etc.

While we didn’t spend much time in the hotel room other than to sleep and eat breakfast, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable stay at a pleasant and clean hotel in Oakville. Our bill came to $250 and change (incl. tax) for two nights – you just can’t beat that! The Country Inn Oakville exceeded our expectations in every respect!

I was booked to stay here last week for one night since the Hilton Garden Inn and Fairfield were sold out. My room was clean with double beds and spacious bathroom, but not what I've become accustomed to with more popular chains. I needed to leave property to find a dinner spot (Hilton Garden Inn a few doors down is a good choice and there are a few options across the highway too).

This two story hotel does not have an elevator which is highly inconvient. Internet access worked in the room fairly well, but my phones were dead which didn't offer a great sense of security. Free breakfast spread in the morning was just ok... better served to hit Tim Horton's next door.
