I didnt pay for it - Air Canada stuck us here for the night after we missed our connecting flight. Shuttle took 90 minutes ( yes you read that correctly, 90 MINUTES!) to pick us up ( around 12 of us) The hotel is disgusting, the filthiest most disgusting carpets I have ever seen. There were wires hanging out of walls, the bathroom needed a good cleaning, it really was awful. AVOID!!
We had to stay here one night and if it would of been any more than that I would of changed hotels. It was not very clean and it smelled bad. The one good thing was the staff. They were very polite, helpful and the shuttle service was on time. The furniture in the rooms is very old, and needs updating. Booked this room because of the price, next time I will make sure to check with trip advisor before booking.
Hotel location is OK for the commute to the city, and parking next to the hotel is nice. Rooms are not clean, due to the very poor condition of the carpets. They are dark in color and needed to be replaced a while ago. Same goes for the bathroom fixtures and other amenities. It looks more like motel who felt on hard times. I also had a hard time to find available electrical plug. Everything in the room had been plug into extension cord and into extention cord and...dangerous tangle of wires. I would not recommend this place unless someone says that it was repaired...
This was a great place for us to stay. We had a car and didn't want to drive through the inner city traffic to explore toronto. Instead we stayed here, parked for free and took the bus and subway fro the hotel into the city. This worked out just fine for us. The hotel was really nice. It had been a much posher hotel chain until it was taken over by days inn. Our room felt like it was a 5* hotel room. Breakfast was really good too. Everything was clean, comfortable and the staff were helpful enough.
