Attractive, comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfasts, and walking distance to all the shops and theaters. It's the perfect place to stay for the Shaw Festival.

We have been going to Blairpen House for many years. The reasons are simple. The innkeeper Tim and his assistant Sharon are more than hospitable. They help in many ways which you may not expect such as providing umbrellas, making reservations, feedback from other guests regarding restaurants and plays, etc. The rooms are spacious with patio attached. The breakfast is not served at a specific time but you can eat betweem 8-10 from a delicious buffet table. This allows for greater flexibility as we enjoy other aspects of the town and surrounding area.

We stayed on Oct 23/10. First reason I liked it was they would take a single night booking. Adult only was the second big perk, followed by location and the over the top friendly man who took my booking over the phone. So far I was well impressed and we hadn't even seen the place except on the internet. When we arrived we couldn't believe how clean the rooms were and how nice the owners are! So accomodating!! I have never given a place 10 out 10, but this one would generate an 11!!! We will be back!

Blairpen House is my favorite place to stay in Niagara on the Lake, and I've stayed in a LOT of places there. The rooms are spotless and quiet, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast is great - I'm picky about what I eat, and they offer a great selection; something for every taste. The location is perfect for the theaters - between the Festival and the other two, but a block or so behind the "main" street where the traffic is. Parking is included, which isn't always the case in NOTL, and the owners are so friendly and helpful about recommending restaurants, wineries, fruit stands, things to do, as well as loaning umbrellas and whatever else I forget.

It's really so welcoming and comfortable. I wish every hotel I stayed at was this nice.
