My boyfriend booked our stay at Green Oaks Inn for a weekend stay in September, during the Wine Festival. Trish was a great hostess! She provided us with information and passes to nearby vineyards and recommended great places to eat. While we were having dinner on Saturday night, Trish decorated our room with flowers and candles and my boyfriend proposed! We had a wonderful breakfast the next morning with more food then we could eat, including a frittata made with fresh eggs from the chicken coup in her backward, fresh muffins, homemade jam, and bacon. We had a wonderful stay!

Great old house, next to a vineyard to walk in. Delicious breakfasts with fresh ingredients right from the garden and eggs from the backyard chicken coop.

Trish was the epitome of hostess. From greeting us at the door to answering our myriad questions, she was excellent. The rooms are spacious with nice beds and linens. Great bathroom which provide all natural bath products from a local boutique. The food was fabulous- far beyond a continental breakfast. She served homemade rolls, jam, coffee, ham, potatoes, eggs Benedict AND fresh fruit and orange juice. All her advice was spot on. If you appreciate historic homes, sustainable products and fresh, local food, this is the Inn for you. Thanks!
