We just spent two nights at Cecile's in the master suite (it's worth the extra cost), and found it to be delightful. It's spotless, and has comfortable furnishings in the common areas. The location is great, and everything is very peaceful and quiet. Chris is a most accommodating host, and an interesting conversationalist.
Still, nothing is perfect; and there are two things that I felt could stand improvement. The place is kept relatively cool, including the bedrooms. I realize that temperature is a matter of personal taste, and that if you make it too warm, it's hard to cool things off. But those who like things a bit warmer are out of luck. We were out walking one evening when the temperature was -8C, and hoped to come home to a warm, cozy room. But the room wasn't warm, and there was no way to change that. I think that a portable heater in each bedroom would be a definite plus.
The other thing that was less that I expected was the breakfast. What Chris did serve was very tasty and attractively prepared. But the only warm dish (aside from toast that you made yourself, and coffee) was a French type of pudding - very good, but served in a dish not much larger than a couple of postage stamps. Considering that Chris is French, and has held high culinary positions in hotels, I thought that the breakfast offering was somewhat sparse. Those who like, or need, a substantial breakfast would find this offering less than adequate.
Overall, however, the experience was very favorable, and I would definitely return - probably in warmer weather.
