My family and I highly recommend this delightful bed and breakfast in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We stayed for three nights and found our hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Guy, to be extremely helpful, warm, and friendly. The gourmet breakfasts were delicious and the post-prandial conversations were stimulating, informative, and fun. Mr. and Mrs. Guy seemed to have mastered the art of offering just the right amount of hospitable assistance without disrupting a guest’s wish for privacy. The Guys are unbelievably resourceful in obtaining theater tickets and restaurant reservations. Based on our experience, we strongly suggest following their recommendations for choice of restaurants no matter how much research you have done on desirable locations prior to your arrival. The nearly 200-year-old home was quite comfortable. It has all of the modern conveniences and has been tastefully redecorated. In fact, the house has been described in several architectural publications. It is a short walk to all of the Shaw Festival venues. The Royal George Theater, for example, is only one half of one block away.
