Shannaleigh Bed & Breakfast was incredible! My wife and I spent our 1 year anniversary there and was impressed from the beginning. John and Carole were excellent hosts. I can honestly say that we have never seen a more beautiful place. Carole's meals were amazing. Especially that magnificent French toast. John, made great recommendations on the carriage ride, bakery and restaurants.They both make an excellent team. We could see how they have many returning guests and we now know why. As we celebrated our 1st anniversary it was a very romantic and relaxing atmosphere. We have shared pictures and stories to our family and friends. If we make it to Niagara-on-the-lake again we will certainly stay at Shannaleigh.

The Shannaleigh is located along the main roadway through Niagara-on-the-lake in Ontario, Canada. This is a magnificent structure with six (6) lovely rooms, each with it's own personality and splendor. Carol & John are two of the most hospitable individuals we have ever met. From the minute you arrive until the minute you leave they are available to help in any way to make you stay totally pleasant and enjoyable. We were on a first name basis with John and Carol from the moment we arrived. Carol's eye for decorating and attention to detail is unique. John's sincere manner and concern for his guests is unequalled. Relax and enjoy some of the best breakfasts you will ever have. Fresh fruit accompanies every breakfast. Crepes and banana pancakes are just two of the wonderful dishes prepared daily by Carol, and they were quite delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shannaleigh and are already discussing our next visit. If you are in the area, don't miss a chance to stay at the Shannaleigh; you will be glad you did!

We had a wonderful time. They were so hospitable, the gardens and house were amazing. We enjoyed the top floor suite, and everything was in great shape. Everything we needed was there. Often, at places, everything looks great, but there's the odd thing broken etc. At Shannaleigh, you could tell they put a lot of care into the rooms. Breakfast was so delicious, I asked for the recipe. We'd definitely stay there again.
