“Highly recommended.”

We stayed for three nights during September 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was included in the stay. Staff were excellent and always willing to help. Location was great, just a short walk to the falls and the attractions of Clifton Hill.
On the downside was only one computer available for internet use and connection was very slow (not a major issue to most) and only one washer and dryer available in the laundry (again not a major issue). Also the walls were quite thin, I was kept awake by the TV in the adjacent room at times throughout the night.
Overall this hotel presents excellent value for money. If you are looking for a luxurious 5 star stay I would say go elsewhere, however if your priority is a good value hotel with clean, comfortable rooms, in a good location with great service I highly recommend the Country Inn & Suites.

“Our favourite in Niagara Falls”

We have stayed here a couple of time. This time we stayed for 3 nights. We like that breakfast is included and we usually get the two queen suite for extra room. This time the maid came and cleaned our room while we were at breakfast. We spoke to the front desk and had them come back to clean again. Nothing fancy but a clean hotel and friendly staff. Plus you don't have to pay to have your car taken miles away like other N.F. hotels. However they do charge for parking.

Room Tip: The suites have more room and microwave and frig.

“Expected a little more”

First of all I'm glad we stayed on the Canadian side. Getting over to Canada was easy as usual - just bring your passport. Getting into Canada is much easier than say Mexico, or Europe. The US side doesn't have the full view like the Canadian side does. .

We stayed here Aug. 11th-14th. Myself, 14 yr daughter, & my husband. The hotel was average. The rm was average- we had a view of the Hard Rock Cafe. The free breakfast was standard for this type of hotel. There were problems w/ the elevators & always a long wait. I think the hotel was at 100% occupancy therefore these things happen. Lots of kids running around. Would have liked less commotion so to speak. The pool/hot tub were clean & nice & actually didn't have a bunch of kids in them for the most part. In the end, the hotel was "average".

Niagara Falls itself is wonderful. Did all the usual tourist tours. Loved the "Thunder behind the Falls". We also went to the Skylon Dinner Revolving Restaurant & Wow the views were stupendous! The price was very high- right at $400 for the meals/ride up & a few drinks. But it was worth it. Even our teenager thought it was 'cool'. The main park across from Horseshoe Falls is beautiful.

What I didn't like regarding the hotel was the area it was in. Kids & many families would disagree w/ me, but it was like a carnival or circus getting from the hotel to the Falls. It drove me crazy to have all the carnival barkers, haunted houses, tatoo parlors, you name it blasting you w/ music, pulling you inside their places, etc. . But, many people seemed to love it --so live & let live. I would stay on the opposite side of the Falls nearer the nicer hotels & actual Falls if I had to do it again- Near where the Skylon is located.

We stayed at this hotel in May for a few nights. Clean hotel about 15 min walk from the waterfalls. Parking was complementary. Staff was nice and helpful. Not a luxury hotel but very nice and comfortable for a good price close to the attractions.

“New Years Eve”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

Stayed over New Year’s Eve weekend. This was our second say at hotel. Our first stay was in a Jacuzzi room with microwave and refrigerator. I was a little disappointed our standard room did not contain these amenities. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We stayed on the top floor (7). I expected the hotel to be loud on New Years Eve due to the hotel being sold out and was pleasantly surprised we did not hear a peep all night and slept well. Breakfast was good and the variety was nice. It was a bit crowded but we were able to get a table. People were not hanging out. The hotel is in a great location close to Clifton Hill and tons of things to do. Everything is within walking distance. The staff is very nice and will answer any questions you may have. Love the complementary coffee in the lobby, nice touch. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and we will return again

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the top floor. Rooms on the side street on quieter.
