Me and my girlfriend decided at the last minute to go to Niagara Falls for the long weekend. I felt a little unsure, but knew it would be nice to get out for a little bit. Upon our arrival I was happily surprized at how friendly Clark and his wife Fran were. We were welcomed to our rooms and shown around, also any questions we had about the area and the location of certain sites were answered promtly.
You walk out of the house and the first thing you see is the gorge, its really something and you really feel like you're apart of the experience right away. It was only about a 15 minute walk until your right in the thick of things. The strip(Clifton Hill) and also a few more minutes walk until your at the actual Canadian Falls, it was really convenient! Parking was not very accessible that weekend so this helped with the price you would sometimes have to pay, which I hear can go all the way up to about $20 during the summer months.
You spend all day walking about town taking part of all the activities and going site seeing and then you either go back to your room. This is what probably surprized me the most is how quiet and peaceful it was there at night. You never hear anyone else in the bed and breakfast and there is ample things to do while you are there. The rooms are furnished really well, and it really feels like your at home with the friendly company that comes with it. Definately a good investment as the rooms were around $100 a night and the hotels in the area went for about $300 a night. Its a beautiful place, the breakfast was amazing and it also has a lot of history which I found really interesting and unique about this particular bed and breakfast!
I would definately recommend it to everyone going there, and I really hope you choose Gretna Green B&B next time you decide to visit Niagara Falls, it was absolutely amazing!
